I contracted to purchase parts from "8tee6Si" - Sean Viveiros and sent him funds by PayPal on 01/09/14. Sounded like he would get parts out right away. On 01/14/14 I PM'd him asking about parts. He PM'd back on 01/18/14 saying he would have a tracking number for me by 01/21. On 01/24 I sent another PM asking for tracking number or some indication that we were still on track with the sale. No response. On 01/28 I sent another PM asking for my parts or my money back. No response. I believe 01/28/14 was the last time he shows active on RPR. I then posted the note below and "1stgenhybridCR-X" indicated he sent him a text which also brought no response to me. After 31 days I have no parts and no response as to why. I "friend'd" him the original money to avoid the fees, so I assume that I have no recourse with PayPal. The future may prove different, but for now I believe that I have been ripped off. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If any members from this area know Sean-8tee6Si-Viveiros would you ask him to check and respond to his PM's please. Purchased and paid for some parts on the 9th of this month and have not been able to get much response from him since. Thanks for any and all help!

Wow still no response? He was supposed to buy one of my 3g spoilers as well. I text him saying it was finished, and he was supposed to come pick it up in person to save on shipping. He never showed up, never called/texted/pm'd. Don't know what happened to him, but I sold the spoiler I had made for him to someone else.

Never ever "gift" someone the money via paypal! You just shot both your feet off when it come to paypal actually helping out with a claim. Bad bad bad...


Pay the fee or don't do business over paypal for this very reason!!! Anybody that asks you to go around the fees is not a true motivated seller and shouldn't even be trusted. Especially if they are not well known like the guy you sent money to.

I know he's sold a bunch of stuff on here and I haven't heard any complaints till now..............sometimes crazy stuff happens like getting into a car accident. If you see him back on here trying to sell more stuff or buy stuff then you know you've been scammed.

It seems strange to me also. I realize that all kinds of things could have come up but typically in 30 days time they should have been taken care of? I must say that HE did not ask me to "gift" him the money, I did that solely on my own and knew better but decided that in this instance it was justified and no, paypal won't do a thing. OK, lesson learned. I still hope he turns up alright with some valid excuse and it works out in the end!

I went through this with somebody on the DSM board, I bought a stainless intake Mani off this guy and discovered he sold it to 3 other people. In the end , I called PayPal and they reimbursed me , but the process sucked. Lesson learned I'll never do that again in the future I'll just pay the fee
