First pic : Yeah, a conversion. Nice fenders, but it was prolly a garage job.
Second pic : I've seen the hatch covers in person - Both styles. One is a simple piece of fabric (First gen, Mk1) and then I think Bryman has the Mk2 style that retracts into a roller (With the fabric hanging down behind the seats). Either way, yes it's very cool
Third pic : What the hell is that ? a trip computer ? If it is, then it's a Civic special edition drop-in. The drop-ins can fit in the CRX. The Civic wagon with A/C for example has a set of vents there. They simply drop in.
Fourth pic : A nicer job on the convertible. Mid eighties were Californias last days of conversions.
Fifth pic : Check out the windows ? I would say that the CF48, 1983 pop-up light header panel, and wierd radiator slot opening (on top of a slightly different bumper skin) make that car remarkable. What are you talking about with the windows ?
Sixth pic : Again with the 83 header panel. But the windows look like reflections. A bit wierd. nice body kit. and again with the wheels.

IMO convertable rex's are like vw cabrolets and gti's, cabby's are for girls.
but if i could find a convertable for cheap, they are so rare i would buy it up pretty quick mainly because im a 1g crx enthusiast!!!

I wish i could find one of them there tonneau covers for the cargo area... I'd kill several small furry animals to get ahold of one... the real cute animals too...

nah........i seriously doubt, that ...if you look at the front bumper closely youll see that"mugen" logo by the parking lights. this car used to be the white convertible thats in one of the pics. it is a carbed u.s. spec model in japan, though and its the one ive been using in my avatar also
