Will run but when reved dies and have to crank it back up! Im not good with carberated motor and if i end up keeping the car ill probably end up rebuilding the carberator or getting down to whats wrong with it! easy to fix but my other car is taking up all my money Has rust in drivers side quarter panel and have pics below!

I have an 85 civic hatch... ive had it for like 4 months now and ive just got insurance on it. It runs but not very well. I have checked all the vacuume lines that i can see and all seem to have no tears in them (i have replaced one)

When i go to crank up the car it runs fine but when i go to rev it up it will idol down really low and stall out? i dont know what the problem is? She has been sitting for about a year. I drove her plenty of times but i have to keep my foot on the accelator to keep her running. What is the problem do i need a carberator rebuild kit? where do i get one? How hard is it? and is there a "how to" on a carberator rebuild? THANKS RPR

i need some new vacuum hoses on my carberated 3rd gen! Most of them seem to be the same size so i really just need a parts number, THANKS

i bought a 3rd gen civic about a month ago and it took a lot to crank it! Well i went to pep-boys and got a new fuel filter (both of them) well it still took a lot of work to crank it up....wweellll i found a little lever under the steering wheel and it had an arrow pointing down and i pulled it and she turned over and ran! BUT the catch is that she still wont idol when i go to drive her!

Well i was just wondering what is still wrong with my car? help me RPR

1st i went to a junkyard and i found some 87 sedan headlights and im wondering if they would fit my 85 hatch? also i found a guage cluster out of a foo door?

2nd question i found a black top d16a1 motor for 150 bucks! will my stock tranny bolt up to it or will i have to get a tranny, shift linkage, axles and ecu for it?

3rd i found 4 wheeel disc brakes out of a 1st gen integra! the will sell it to me for $150 is this a good deal... and will braking be like night and day after the seup...

4th will the back seats out of a 1st gen teg bolt up to the back of a hatch
