Back again , currently going into the summer season and the car is stored into my shop. Maybe out just for the weekends. I'm planing some realy nice photoshoots soon... biggrin.gif
My scooter will take the lead for daily use as I use it a lot for the distance home-work and the city center with so much traffic, only scooter can do the easy and fast work.

Some pictures that I took this week...

I'm in love with these seats!! Very comfortable for daily use (that's why I took out the driver fixed bucket). Much much better holding than oem crx. tongue.gif

If you remember the newest projects that I was writing at the page 6, here is the current status of each car.

The 3g track civic, is finally B16 na. It's finished but I don't have pictures to show the result. This photo 2 month ago, when we was test fitting the swap.

My brother project civic ee9 vtec , finally finished.

Hallo eveyone.

I'm back on my topic, showing that I hadn't forget my crx. Only driving it out at weekends, sun shining condition.
There is only 1 change so far....quess what...
...
......
WHEELS

Ok , many of you will say that it's enough with these changes ahahah...but I could't done anything as a customer needed the wheels for his Toyota project , he liked vey much the style. He was asking me a whole week for these wheels and I finally sold them to him.
I grab a deal for some Yokohama parada tires and brand new 15" gold wheels (work cr style) . It was a little risk because I didn't know for real how it could be with gold color. I suppose that it's looking great.

Some quick photos from my mobile .

Never forgot my beloved topic and the crx is still here and alive!
I passed the whole summer, riding my scooter for my daily move and the crx was stored inside the back of my shop.
I was getting it prepared to put it out for the strong winter, put some sun shiny work on the body / colour to be refreshed with polish /wax , and as for the rest only change for now is the upgraded rear suspenion.
It's the same bilstein I had used at the past, just got these rebuild and order a new pair of 450lbs rear springs. Racing Logic do this very nice, I wanted to try a new full adjustable suspension but it was going to cost me ~500euro so I let it go for other time (maybe) and preferred to play with these harder springs.
Much way better the setup, but I need something to do at the fronts.

These are the rears
Before...

After , rebuild and new springs

Just some recently taken pics, getting the car out of my shop.

Back home (spot brother ef9 at front...hehe)

EG6 is what year? 1992-93 Civic? So you got a Bilstein EG6 rear coilover set and what Bilstein units in the front? I wasn't aware that Bilstein made shocks for our G1 CRX's. JS

Suspension:
Race spec custom bilstein front shocks
Rear Bilstein sport eg6 shocks with coilover kit and lowering springs

I had to go back to the first page to see what shocks you are using. I had asked before what Bilsteins you were using.
1. Can you give an exact part number for fronts and rears.?
2. If the fronts are custom made, were they made by Bistein or did you have somebody else rebuild them?
3. Explain again exactly what you had to machine for the rears to fit?
4. You also had a picture of some red coils earlier but they look different than the ones in the last picture.

I would appreciate any info to help some of us sort out a better suspension. JS

If you want one of these Logos send me a PM

The first page was not updated with the currect setup/parts list. It's now updated.

1. Front are not bilstein. Tokiko at front, rears don't even have code, but are real Bilstein. I had these stored at my shop unboxed, probably was wrong order because these are eye type bottoms. Like jdm cars px DC2. I may be able to find the code of these somewhere, I will try.
2. Fronts as I said, currently are Tokiko because the customs I had , I put it on my race spec EW civic. Was way harder, it's pain in the bone to drive with these on Greek bounce roads. There is a Bilstein dealer here at my place, which have a separate machine shop/workshop and they can work on basic bilstein shocks to get these upgraded and much your needs. Not cheap though, but really impressive. Lot of rally teams are preparing their cars at that shop. I do have these on my race spec EW civic and my rally civic eg6. Rebuilt able of course.
3. Rear are like bolt on, I had to make customer Teflon topmount to hold the spring base on top (because these springs are slim not big like oems) The only bad is that they work always vey low because this lower leave just 10-15mm piston travel unsure.gif . But springs are hard so you must push a lot to end.
4. Red coils were fitted at the past at the old shocks I had. Nothing compared to now setup. ph34r.gif
