WOW Dave, what changed your mind? I am soooo gonna rock some GULF wear. Heck, I might even paint the dillo up in a Gulf racing theme.

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

Cool 1Gencrx, I didnt' want to speak for you.

BP, I didn't want to call it south central, sounded like LA. If anyone wants to make changes to the format, feed them along. Sounds like we have one Oklahoman (ex floridian) and a potential on an Arkansas member. So lets make this a big one.

Well have to bring in a truck of sand and do a beach theme

BP, Lets get water paint and some bikini babes to paint our cars.

(edited title page for 1gencrx)

Sinic, never too soon. If you have stuff, post here and I'll open a section on the first page for WTB, FS, Free, WTT. That way it all stays on the front page. Unless you guys prefer a seperate post. But the earlier the better. Maybe someone from Cali wants a part here. And someone from NM comes to get it and trades it off at the next meet: saves on shipping

Edited for

1) FS/WTB/FREE/TRADE section
2) added 2011 planning session and t shirt design
3) an individual has offered to charge r12 a/c systems for our vintage cars only. However, refrigerant will not be supplied. Good time to rebuilt your system w/ new seals and bring it to the meet.

Oh, I added my t-shirt size next to my name. So if we get together and make shirts for this event, we'll have the data. So please post when you get a chance.

Thnx

We we tossing around the ideas of hats/shirts. Not sure who wants to take the ball.

I thought hats would be simple to have embroidered. BUt when I went over to HOnda last month, my local dealer had several different hats in the cabinet. Unfortunately, the basic hats design (I liked and thought would be a good generic) was an older hat that HOnda is out of. They had 9 hats. 3 were female colors. The other 6 were for the boyz. 3 of those were a dragon design and the graphics took up a lot of the hat and I thought would take away from any "RPR" or "Meet" themes we tried to put on it.

If you guys find something you like, then post it up for ideas. I'm kinda out at the moment.

BUt thought sitting down and doing the 2011 design at the 2010 meet would make next year's a snap.

So what's the record attendance to one of these gulf coast meets?

I can't say for sure that it is the record, but the most I have ever seen in one place was 6, including myself.
We are on target to have at least twice that this year!!!
YAY!!!

Check this hat out. Plus check out the brand. I kinda like this one. But the price is steep for not being a fitted hat.

I was kinda of thinking a basic and classic design. My buddy at the store I've been buying from sent me this. Its an older version. I checked and can't get more. But its shaped a little funny. Kinda of like the japanese hats they wore on the godzilla movies way back when. Feeling like a japanese imperial solder a little. Narrow and taller w/ the visor pitching down quicker than a typical american ball cap. Just my thoughts, I was going for clean and simple. But up for anything.

Honda didn't have any kakis for this years magazine at the dealerships

1stgen, got your stuff input.
