The sale is pending on a car the seller and I have a verbal commitment on but the car will not be available to me 'til Sunday May 19th.
1985 CRX Si only 165,000 miles rebuilt head 20K miles ago (because timing belt broke and bent valves) Runs great. Motor runs Strong. ZC strong. I wouldn't be suprised if it was faster that a ZC. I don't know why but maybe the roomer is true about the 85 cam being more aggressive. No thermostat cause I got lazy to put it back in after burping the car. runs hot standing still, but doesn't over heat (common?)
Exterior:
-Needs paint (jacked up black fenders and hood) and red jacked up paint
-85 Si wing pretty good condition.
-Sunroof is rusted, but I have a good replacement not installed.
-Drivers side fender has a crack. Passenger side is good. Header piece is not OEM.
-Body is over all in good condition.
Interior:
-Stock Drivers seat is a old yucky replacement, one reupolstered seat with some rips i think (under a cover).
-Dash rest of the interior is 8 outta 10 (for 28 year old car.
-Uninstalled window sills very good condition
Wheels:
-14x7 watanabe look alikes front and rear are slightly different. Shakes at 70ish mph with them (car sat and mag weights fell off too).
-13x5 Stock 85 Si wheels in good condition. No shakes but tires are bald.
Front Suspension:
-KYB shocks (I also have BRAND NEW KONI YELLOWS Not installed!!! 1 has bent brake line bracket because I was trying to take it off)
-24 mm Sway-A-Way torsion bars.
Rear Suspension:
ST Springs (cut some coils off)
-Koni Yellow with less that 20K miles on them.
-RPR panhard adjustable panhard bar
Quirks: windshield wipers stopped working recently. Keeps blowing fuse. Replaced wiper motor, but still blows fuse. After research it may be the 'park circuit' wherever that is. http://www.redpepper...showtopic=55606
Hazard switch doesn't work either.
