I have an Si pick up. I have no idea what they are worth. Make me an offer and get me a shipping address and I will get a shipping quote for you.

Jeff

I managed to get one from one of my Honda racing friends on the East coast...and it only cost me a 6-pack of beer too :)

I might be interested in yours as a spare.  How about $25 plus shipping to zip code 53033?

If that sounds fair, follow up with a PM and I'll trade contact info with you.

One thing to check... can you inspect it and confirm there are no cracks on the pick-up?  The critical areas to check are where the two braces are spot welded onto the top of the large suction plate, and the bottom of the pick-up itself.

Thanks!

Yes 250ft-lbs is what I use.

This is with stock axles.

Torque them, drive around a bit then recheck the torque before staking the nut.

Check the torque periodically...if you find a axle nut backing off, it's a sign that the bearing is starting to wear out.

One thing I have discovered with these trick hubs...

Richard added more meat to the hub near the base.  This makes them stronger but also makes it harder to replace the bearings as you can't easily get a bearing puller onto the inner race that sticks to the hub when you press them out of the knuckle..  On the stock hubs there is a slight gap between the race and the hub that gives the bearing puller something to grab on to. Then again in the past when I still ran stock hubs I never worried about getting the old race off as I usually threw out the hub when I rebuilt the knuckles with fresh bearings every season.  Now that I have hubs that last I have to deal with getting the old race off.

What I have done the last few times is take a Dremel tool with a small cut-off disc and carefully cut a slot on each side of the bearing race about 2 inches long and just wide enough to give the puller something to grab on to.  The race material is hard and I go thru a couple of discs before the groove is deep enough.
