Basically the car has been stripped of everything except for the lights, front seats, and dash. If anyone wants any interior parts lemme know. I'll sell em cheap.

No O2 Sensor Needed, Right?

25 May 2004 - 11:56 AM

If all the smog equipment is removed from the engine, then technically its not a feedback carb anymore so based on that, the o2 sensor is now useless right? If so, I can remove it from my engine bay, right?

Integra Oil Pan

01 May 2004 - 01:54 PM

Ok, so will an integra oil pan bolt up just fine to a D15A2 engine and provide the clearance needed to run an aftermarket header? I dont have a hookup for a CRX/Si pan right now but do have one for an integra pan.

S & S Headers

26 April 2004 - 04:14 PM

Has anyone purchased the header from S & S Headers? They offer a ceramic coated header for the 84-87 civic/crx for only $105 and I'm hoping it will fit the D15a2 without the need of the Si oil pan.

Also, will an 88 integra oil pan work instead of an Si pan in the event that I need to swap pans?

Post Smog Removal Drama

16 April 2004 - 08:12 PM

Calling All people who have done the smog removal procedure. Whats the deal? I pulled all the smog equipment off and after some issues I am at the point where the engine runs but it won't idle and it diesels like crazy.

Now... I did some googling to figure out the diesel issue. It turns out that the fuel cutoff solenoid will only engage when you shut the engine off when the RPMS are under 1400RPMs. Fast idle is at like 2700rpm and when I start the car it stays there till I turn it off. Hence no fuel shutoff.

Not cool. I need help figuring out why it wont idle. Here are the latest carb pictures:

Im not going to show them here since they are huge.

Im hoping to figure it out by tomorrow but any assistance tonight would be greatly appreciated!
