To actually see the cylinder, you have to pull the wheel and brake drum off.
It is the "tube" at the top of the setup with the rubber boots at either side, that the top part of the brake shoes make contact into.

The rubber part that mount to the frame is different as well.
3 bolts as opposed to 2 on the civic/crx mount.

Vacuum advance is only on the 86-87 Browntop and won't fit the Blacktop Head.

I think he is referring to the fact that yours appears to retract all the way down where the "little ball" at the end is in contact with the mounting plate.
Most vehicles I have seen won't retract that far in, they stop while still sticking out 4-6 inches.

Mine retracts all the way now, but I am using an 88 teg antenna.
