Sounds like a modded computer chip (didnt think there were any for out cars)

So, I've been thinking (dangerous i know)

Would there be any advantages to modifying the stock intake plenum to house a 2nd TB and intake from the drivers side?

Would having air enter the plenum from both the driver and passenger sides be advantageous?
If you did a devac and removed the ugly black box, you could add a 2nd intake.

Now there would be 2 paths of airflow, with air being drawn in from the stock location by the battery, as well as from the area where the vacuum box was.

Thoughts?

So, im looking at getting into AutoX like the title says.

I'm looking at getting some tokico blues

I have RSX rear springs, can anyone shed some light on whether or not these will work for autox? I think they raise the car about an inch, so I may cut a coil or 2 off. If these wont work (or just are going to be a good setup) I'd like some 350lb rear springs.

Also, if anyone has thicker torsion bars let me know, as i would like to upgrade these too. I may just go to the JY and see if there's an old integra around to pull them from.

Last but not least, I'm looking for a rear sway bar. Addco makes a good one i hear.

Oh, and if anyone has a helmet laying around I also am interested

So, after having to get my mechanic to grind off a bolt (head was warped and i couldnt bust it off, and i haz no grinder) on the exhaust manifold heat shield, i spent the next day installing the chikara 4-2-1 header i got on ebay for 100 bucks.

Only took me 4 hours to install lol. Finally figured out why it was taking so long when the header slipped right into place after i removed the hood latch support. .......why is it usually a simple answer to a problem that gets over looked....

Anywho, I got the mofo on, put everything back together (minus the latch support, which doesnt fit lol) I started it up. Nothing.....(then I put the spark plug wires back in) started it again, VROOM!

Almost immediately the black paint burnt off (smoking like the joint in my lips ) but after about ten minutes, it was all gone.
Test drove it, wasnt impressed. Felt like there was LOSS in performance.

Spoke with JEA86, who told me to reset the ECU. I did so.
CAR PULLS LIKE A DEMON! (well, as opposed to how it was stock lol)

So far, My dream is coming together. Intake, Headers, Mugen style 2'' exhaust. Next is dizzy springs, rear RSX springs (thanks Jeremy!) and polishing up and painting the phonedials. My 16's are getting shitty looking and i'd rather have the lighter tires.

Oh, and I swear, at 3K rpm, the car sounds fucking epic. You can actually hear the exhaust resonance change. Would this be because the headers and exhaust change the powerband ?
