I had a thread on here with my introduction and the pics are gone from it (and it's been a year) so I will post up a couple of updated pictures of my car here. I have added a set of 13x5 Carroll Shelby wheels with 175/50-13 Sumitomo tires and a custom made one-of-a-kind (literally) front air dam. Please (try) to overlook the crooked bumper end piece. I know it's a complete eyesore but it is fixed now.

Hope you enjoy. The car will have its final color paint put on in January.

Looks nice! I used to own a '79 1200 in the early '80s - probably still have it if I hadn't totaled it. sad.gif

Here is my 76 CVCC that I have owned for nearly 20 years now, these are very rare to see in the Ontario rust belt....

You're Mad!

Well thank God for that, 'cause if I wasn't, this would probably have never worked.

That reminds me of my first car - a 1975 CVCC. I learned a lot from that car. This isn't mine, but looks exactly the same:

My first car was a '77. I learned a lot in that too. The most significant lesson I learned as a young driver was about avoiding wildlife on the road. Specifically, it's better to hit a rabbit than to swerve for it.

At least afterward I had a compelling reason to buy an '82 Civic.

My wife used to have a white 77'. That car started my addiction for
Honda's and I'll never get over it. I pass one every time I go to a
neighboring town. Maybe one of these days I'll pick up another one.
If only I could convince my wife we need more than three
civics, because I'm not selling another one!!!! biggrin.gif

Your civic looks sharp! Are you going to put the front spoiler back
on it? I see your from Hotlanta. Were the photos before new paint
taken at a show? Was it at Nopi?
