I'm not sure but they look very similar in size. It would be cool to have a new source of aluminum drums for the fans who swear by them.
Did you happen to see if the calipars where still there? You know they are also aluminum too. I almost sure they bolt on so long as you get the callipar braket because my friend who works at a honda repair shop said the machine that turns the rotors on the car bolts to the place where the calipar bracket goes and it only has two different adapters. One is for the bigger brakes like on the Oddesy vans, Ridgeline and the other adapter fits every thing else.
Still you may have to do a little fidgeting to get them to fit right but I think It would be cool to have some polished out aluminum calipars to add some bling, not to mention weight savings.
Get more bang 4 your buck.

Raybestos still carries HF aluminum drums in their online catalog.

I test fitted the Insight rear drum onto my 3G hatch, and they did seem to fit. I didn't actually drive it, so I can't say for sure that it will work, but it sure seemed like it would. The front brakes I believe are the same as a 2G CRX, so they should bolt right up as well.

I got a set of brand new al drums off rockauto for about 30 bucks a piece.
Iron drums for $30 is about right. Aluminum drums are about 3x more . But much lighter
Insight calipers should be a good fit, Honda is pretty good about using similar brake bits over the years. I have not seen any Insights in the Pick n' Pull, I wnder how much a set of calipers would be.

Scott, f22hb is right, rockauto sells them for $27 each. Their iron drums sell for $18
Honda, because it's hard to look baller in your mom's Volvo.
The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

Yeah, I looked yesterday and they have two left according to the listing. One each on two different lines.

They fit every Honda Civic/CRX sold since the 1984 model year that has rear drum brakes. The only issue is the rear brake backing plate. The aluminum drums need a special backing plate that came with the 1985-1987 CRX HF. The aluminum drums will also fit on the 1988 and newer backing plate.

So i went ahead and got the Alum Drums and Front Calipers, good note, the Manual Trans and Auto Trans have different front calipers. These calipers are magnetic. It appears the Manual Trans ones are Aluminum, and the CVT's are Steel or some sort of Steel/Alum Alloy.
If anybody wants, ill sell you the Calipers and Alum Drums.
