Just drill a hole in the appropriate place. Either bolt through and nut on the inside or vice versa. You could weld on a nut or use a nutsert type of thing. Not hard really. JS

Actually, it is rather hard considering only those two bolts support the tube. And since my car is 22 years old and the frame rails aren't exactly thick, I would like to do things right the first time because there's no going back.
Next weekend I'll attempt to cut a section from the middle of a spare tube and weld it back together to fit my Mugen bars.

Actually they don't support the torsion tube at all. It is there so the end cap stays on and perhaps if there is any up down movement it will prevent it from banging. If you look where the oem mount hole is compare it to a spot a few inches down the road and compare the strength. It will be similar If concerned then just weld a plate into the spot where the hole will go. JS
