Happy Holidays!

We wanted to end off 2005 by sharing the latest developments for the Niagara CRX Meet.

Having done the Meet since 1998, myself and the awesome group of people that help me each year (actually, it's more like I help them!) are passing the torch to a new Director who will be assembling a crew of his own to keep the Meet alive. Geoff Davidson aka; Cloud Pump has accepted the position and it seemed to us that he would be the perfect choice.

Geoff is originally from Montreal and has lived just outside Toronto for many years. He has been attending the Niagara CRX Meets since N5 and has also been organizing the more underground half-meets since N7.5. He has owned 3 CRX's, is currently restoring another and runs the website:
http://www.cloudpump.net

The date will be announced sometime in the new year once Geoff is able to assemble his team and work out dates and location etc. We'll continue to help him with the transition by running the Meet website at http://www.niagaracrxmeet.com and helping out in any other ways that we can. Once a date is announced we'll send out another email and update the website with that information.

I'll have more to say on the site once it is updated for N12, however for now I'd simply like to say thank you to all of you that supported me since I started the meet and ask that you give Geoff the same support and respect that I've enjoyed all of these years. If his enthusiasm is any indication, the meet will only continue to get better.

Have a great new year!
ken.
Ken Dyment,
(former) Director
Niagara CRX Meet

Now, I'll be frank... no I'm still Stu, Stu Still for that matter, but I'll play frank... er.. yeah, I'll stop.
I'm glad to hear that there's going to be another Niagra meet. THIS YEAR will be the year I get Silverbolt up there, gorram it (barring any job committments I can't avoid) . But I'm wondering if Cloud is necessarily the best person for the job. Enthusiasm, hell yeah he's got it. But he's also got that... divisiveness/rambunctiousness about him and I'm hoping that doesn't spread through the meet and/or overtake it.

And of course, in the off chance Geoff's reading this... calling it how I sees it dude.

*shrugs* Anybody's take on this? Any takers/leavers?
Ghost... does the bet go up because he's organizing the meet now?

ill make it to another meet eventually...maybe ill tow the new C-rex up there this year. The one i took to N10 is cut to pieces laugh.gif .

Oh, and we still need a national RPR meet, we've got Bryman on the East and Scott on the West, but no giant centralized meet yet.

There are 3 goals when modding a car.
Cheap, Reliable, and Fast.
Now the down side. You only get to pick 2...

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

Haha biggrin.gif

I havent been to a meeting before, but i read over this "cloud" guys website and i can tell that he is a "divisiveness/rambunctiousness" kind of person. I dont even know the guy. I wanted to come to the meet..i hope that i dont miss out on something that is so great. Jeze im so tired of being away from everyone. We need to start a group in alberta. The local 403 or the flat landers or...i dont have any more ideas..

Power to Cloudpump! I dont think his "devious behaviour" (lol) will stand in the way of a great
meet and tradition.

I've met Cloudpump at numerous meets, and must say that even tho I wanted to poop in his car
circa N8, since then we've talked and he's super cool. He's pationate about these cars and about
this community, and I think he'd be a great candidate to organize the N meets.

Meh. As long as he stops burning shit at the campsites...lol, damned fence, picnic tables...what
else?? lol.

PS. If anyone wants a good laugh, check out his forums in the link posted a few posts up and
read his European adventure..OMG, I read the whole story and good shit!

It's funny as hell, but I don't know how a sane person can even get into situations like that. Read the Inga story, it's even better/worse/shows how friggin' insane the man can be.

In 2002 Ghosty was going to pay anybody $20US to take a shit in Cloudpump's rex...hahahaha,
but it was all jokes and even cloudpump thought that was pretty funny...lol.

But it never went down, nor would've gone down. It was just an ongoing RPR joke for a bit.

As long as Cloud doesn't end up in handcuffs or have people thrown out of any establishments, we should be fine.

For those who haven't attended a Niagara meet-----get there!

For those who have-------'nuff said.
