Where are you located? I will need a new crossmember eventually but I imagine it's kinda heavy and "oversized" so shipping would probably cost alot. But if you were a driveable distance, I would be interested (depending on what you think a fair price is)

I am interested in the crossmember too. I would need to know how much and how much for shipping. Thanks for the info. E-mail me at [email protected]

It is neither heavy or "oversized". I am located in Ohio and shipping shouldn't be more than $10-15 I'd imagine based on some other stuff I've sold.

If the deal falls through with buymysoul, I am interested. Since he posted first, he obviously gets first call.

Kind of ironic that we are both in Indiana. What does that tell you about the rust here. lol

Yeah, rust no good.

I've actually got some other more pressing things I should take care of first, so go ahead and sell it to cburnscrx, your price did sound fair though.

cburnscrx, are you ever south of indy? I saw a little red SI the other day on my way to school.

If you are ever in need of any parts and can't find them locally, you should check out Bloomington Auto Parts a little north of Bloomington on 37, they are pricey and you aren't allowed in the yard, but they have tons of old hondas. I snuck in one saturday and took some pics. The red rex with the Le Bra is mine now.

Thanks for pawning it off to me. I appreciate it. Actually, the cross member is for my dad’s 87 Si. It’s black and has 300k on it. The cross member is basically gone and won’t be making it much longer. Some angle iron is all that is keeping it going now. Yikes.

Unfortunately, I am not often south of Indy. I made a delivery or two to Oliver Winery, but that is about it. As for seeing a red CRX, it definitely wasn’t me. I haven’t driven the CRX in over two years and mines black as well. My CRX has no rust. I bought it about 8 or 9 years ago from a guy relocating from CA. He broke the timing belt on the way here, bent valves and limped it here. He actually had a mechanic just put a new belt on it and made it continue on it’s trip here. As soon as he got here, he sold it and got a new car. I then bought it. I have rebuilt the engine and it does run, but it’s currently sitting in my garage and waiting for more funding. Big dreams, small cash! Actually, I drive a 93 Prelude VTEC right now. Also, thanks for the info about the yard, I will probably use it at some point. I have an 89 Integra (aka “project winter beater”) that desperately needs the drivers side door molding. Haven’t had much luck finding it here, so I might try them. Nice pickup of the CRX, how’s it holding up? It is always good to see a Rex saved from destruction. If you need anything, let me know I am in Brownsburg, IN.
