Picked up an 85 civic 1500s for my new project. Race car isn't fun anymore so I will be pulling all my parts from my crx and putting into this:

more pics here

here is a shot of the motor in my crx:

my wife and i just had twin girls, so this will a slow moving project haha. plan is to swap out the 9:1 comp pistons in the b16 with some 11:1 and throw in some new cams and go back to NA. i'm excited for a new project, especially one that I can enjoy more than 8-9 times a year. going for a somewhat sleeper look with some nice wheels. love bracket racing so i'm shooting for high 12's in the 1/4.

so if anyone local is interested in a 1g crx drag chassis with fiberglass front end, let me know. after i pull the 1.5 liter motor from the 1500s, i will put that in the crx chassis so it is at least mobile. PM me for details. pics of the crx here. could me a nice road car if you got the rest of the Houseman fiberglass panels.

i will start a build thread when i start. only down side i see right now is this 1.5 liter motor is still getting 48 mpg and runs great. guy i bought it from says it has new dist/wires, carb base plate, and all new vacuum lines. oh well, can't have a hotrod if you dont put a bigger motor in it haha

Nice find! I'm interested to see the progress of your build and the finished product.

not really a brand, a guy in Oregon made it for me. found him on Honda-tech. cost was very reasonable. won't fit in a crx without the fiberglass front end though. it will be for sale soon. wink.gif
