Intrax is the way I went. 1.5" drop. Paired with Tokico Illumina shocks

Suspension Techniques makes progressive springs. I have not heard anything about them though.

I believe there are coilovers for the beloved 1st Gen now too.

Is it that well hidden that Red Pepper Racing sells parts? We have Eibach springs, and Koni or GC coil-over conversions.

Maybe someone can answer this... how far can the front be lowered if the back springs are replaced? I want to go with a 1" drop in back, but much stiffer. If I don't replace the front torsion bars (I can't find any), can I lower the front and will the ride still be acceptable?

I think you can take about an inch/half  out of the front by just backing off the torsion bar nuts underneath the car.

As for the rear , if you go to stiff the car will rotate and cause oversteer. If you just drive it on the road the Intrax or eibach springs should work fine.

If you want more get some Ground control coil overs with whatever spring rate you are looking for.

Just a note that if you want less roll in the front end the Civic WAGON has a large front sway bar that goes rite in.

I know this question is addressed like every week.
But do cut 1G Integra springs make for a stiffer rear suspension?
I am thinking about doing that for my car, with a wagon sway bar up front.
I am just curious if there is a real performance value of having the Integra springs with 1 or 2 coils knocked off?

Methodical: I'm running one torsion bar from an 87 Civic 4WD (haven't had the chance to get the other one in yet). You can get them off hondaautomotiveparts.com relatively cheap. It's not so much finding any replacements at all, it's that anywhere between 15-18 years of rust can really be a b*tch to work with. Rust plus PB blaster plus grease = a stickyass glue that won't budge without a lot of oomph.

cutting 2 coils on teg springs will raise your car because there stiffer than crx springs, id go with 3-4 coils ;x

the best way to cut coils is with a cutoff wheel(i know from experince) or a ton of hacksaw blades

methodical,

If you can find me some 27mm torsion bars you can buy my 24mm bars.   24=nice street setup,   27=race

That offer goes to anybody.....

I got a set of Ground Control coilovers.  I am very pleased with them.  Having the option to adjust is very nice.  At first I had them set a little too low and I was scrubbing the wheel wells over every bump.  A few turns of the coilovers and it rides just the way I want.  You need to flair out the body if you want to really go low.
