I have a quick question, I just acquired my 1987 Honda CRX SI with intention to use it as my get to work vehicle and project vehicle (fix it up make it look really nice). Question is what is the normal RPM for cruising at 65-70 mph? I will be doing no less than 65 and no higher than 70 for 40 miles to work and coming home from work. Will it be able to do this on a daily basis?

I get between 3k to 3.5k those speeds.
And yes it would, my crx makes it. I keep maintenance top notch though so make sure you do.

I drove my 84 CRX for 60 miles one way, 95% interstate at 65-70 for 4.5 years from 1989-1994 (or there about).  Heck yes, it's up for it!  Keep tabs on your fluids daily at first, then weekly so you can watch for changes.
