I am swapping a D16a1 into my 85 carb'd 1.3 hatch. I am wondering what my carb options are for the D16a1. I am aware of the dual weber sidedrafts but they are a tad bit exspensive. Any other carb setups that give the power of the dual webers or close to it for cheaper? Thanks

I am going to try a 36mm DCNF (downdraft carb). I won't have it installed for a few months though.

Going to Hawaii? You need a Dune Buggy.

WTB: 14x8 or 9" Panasports or Watanabe RS.

WTB: 3g Civic hatch gauge cowl, brown.

WTB: ZC header--FOUND

I assume that is a weber carb? What manifold would I use for it? The carb'd ZC manifold? Thanks

That is right. I think a Weber downdraft 34mm and up should do, so long as it fits under the hood, that is. I assume you're aware that the engine has a factory carb for it. There are a few owners of them on the board. But to be honest, go with a Weber. It won't cost any more other than the cost of making and adapter plate and you can find parts easier.
