Yes, if you are referring to the 1st gen Integra.

it's not the booster it's the master cylinder that needs to be replaced when you change the rears... more pressure... so no... you don't need to change the booster

ok so to do the front i can just swap the rotors and the and calipers and nothing is needed in the Master cylinder or booster area, only when i do the rears.

You only need the calipers. The rotors are thicker but are pretty much the same diameter. I got new calipers for $50 apiece. The fronts just bolt on and you're done. You get the advantage from the far bigger pads that you can get into a teg caliper. I have some EG civic rotors that also appear to be exactly the same diameter and thicker still. I'll probably throw them on if my car is still running.

You will have a bit more throw in the brake pedal, as you have to push more fluid with a smaller M/C. You need the caliper brackets as well as the calipers, and some places don't include new brackets with the calipers, and if the j/y ones are in good shape, $50 is not a bad price.
88-91 Civic/CRX front brakes are also a bolt on.

cool i like the idea of having the better stoping power. I can also either sell or junk the extra spindles and maybe even recoup some of my money.

I used to work at a part store, and I ordered every eighties honda master cylinder just to measure them.
go get a master cyclinder for an 86-87 prelude, non si,
it has the same bore size as the integra mc, but the OD of the crx one, so it bolts right in.

What all is needed to fit the 4th gen brakes on? Same stuff?
CarNut: Which yard up in Tulsa? I've got some friends up there so I might send them looking for some parts. I don't think any yard here in Ft Smith has an older Teg.

For the fronts, yes, you just need the caliper bracket, caliper, rotor and pads. It all just bolts on. You don't need to do an MC swap either because the caliper piston is the same size on the 3G and 4G.

Sooo....in theory, the newer teg calipers/rotors would fit as well(for fronts ofcourse), since they bolt right up to a 4G, just might not be able to run 13" wheels...don't know the measurements on those rotors, just know they are slightly bigger than the 4G...and I have a 90 Teg for a parts car
