^ Good Idea.

James from Melbourne.

1986 CR-X Si - This is my project, hopefully becoming a well used street and track car.

1987 CR-X - Parts car, this is the car with the JDM pop up roof vent.

Sounds like a good idea!

Chris [kristoo]

1986 Civic GL (AUDM)
1987 CR-X Ballade Sports F-1 Special Edition (JDM)

It should be noted I don't actually drive either of these unsure.gif
The civic has been under a cover for nearly 4 years now (!!) and the CRX was meant to be fixed up and put on the road over a year ago but I never seem to have time to get into it properly and it's really dragging on mad.gif

Steve (lambs)....in Melbourne.

The vehicles, starting with the Honda's:

1986 3G Civic auto sedan, now fitted with JDM EW5 courtesy of JDT and runs beautifully
2006 Jazz VTi CVT, wife's car

1998 RAV4 wagon, as reliable as they come

1989 R32 GTR JDM, Godzilla, 'nuff said

1974 Datsun 260Z coupe, purpose built for club sprints (worked Motec injected multi-TB L28, custom gearbox, LSD, etc, etc)

1993 Mazda BG 323 sedan, bought cheap from a work colleague. I'm fixing it up for a friend of the family.

1983 BMW K100 motorcycles, my preferred mode of transport besides the GTR
1976 Moto Guzzi 750-S3, owned since new, one of less than 100 in Australia. Partly restored, probably my retirement project.

Also have a friends 260Z up on the hoist at the moment, which we're fitting with a VG30DET.

I think that's enough.........

Edit: should add that I've got JDT's spares car in the yard at the moment, but will be returned smile.gif

drives

BLUE - 1983 CRX with a few changes - B18c, Y1 gearbox with obx lsd, Illumina shocks all round, 24mm torsion bars, g1 teg rear axle swap, g1 teg front brakes, dc2 teg master cylinder and booster, extended shift levers and short shifter, dc2 dash swap, complete wiring harness swap to OBD1, sports, racing seat, deleted sunroof and air con, fiberglass fenders, fiberglass header panel, zc bonnet. Road and track car. Not much in the car hasn't been out and in.
Few more things in the wings - toda cams, decent 2.5 inch exhaust, OBD2a type R ecu or aftermarket ecu, rear sway bar, roll bar/half cage. It's getting to be a bit of a beast.

A black 1984 crx currently unregistered, but to be kept pretty much original apart from a worked zc browntop, ls3 box and cusco lsd if I can get them together, g1 teg suspension and brake upgrade. Road car, or thats the intent.

1988 prelude with most of a body kit, 17 rims, lowered springs and nothing else. Get there in 'sport/rice boy style with some comfort' car. Nice drive actually.
