Okay I have two problems that have been happening to my CRX recently. First off when my car first starts up sometimes the car stalls and takes 5 min to start back up and it runs fine after that. I have no clue what could be the cause of this. Also by battery light has been coming on but I just put in a new alternator and theres no reason the battery light should be coming on. And another thing that is weird is that it goes off when the car is at idle. If anyone can help me that would be great. Thanks

check the connections on the alternator. id guess the light wasnt comin on when the previous alternator was working good.

the battery light comes on when the car is idleing? ....... hmm, maybe idle is too low. whats it idle at? (the factory idle spec is ont eh sticker under the hood)

id bet the idle may be the cause of most of your problems, or at least something to check.

The battery light comes on sometimes and others it goes off and i triple checked all the connections and they were solid. But lately I have noticed that my fuel pump seems to be really loud and when i turn on my turn signal the fuel pump noice fades in and out. Its really weird because I just put on a new alternator and i kno that it works and my idle has been set for about 800RPM which is what it is supposed to be. I dunno, I really have no clue whats going on! And i really hate electrical problems because it can be just about anything. Do you think it could be my fuel filter right after the gas tank because I have yet to replace it and I have put alot of miles on the car. Thanks for any imput.

try and advance your idling just a nut hair and as for the light mine had the same problem as for the brake light the brake light would come on everytime i barked second gear and the went off when i hit third i just looked at is a buch of bells and whistles going off congragulating me on catching second lol
