I have an 87 Civic Wagon that 2 days ago on the way home stalled on me after going over a speed bump. (Probably a bit to fast since the car is pretty low) It fired right back up but now dies whenever I take my foot off the gas. The carb is not devaced.

What I have done:
I adjusted the idle so it would stay running. Idle is very erratic. Revs up fine but isn't very stable when it evens out. Sputters a bit. 2k+ to keep it running anything lower and it just sputters out and stalls.
-Checked the bowl seems dead on.
-Checked for external vac leaks (Nothing)
-Cleaned the linkage and upper parts of the carb. Internally it looks clean.

Overall the carb looks like it is alot newer then the rest of the stuff in. The car only has 165k on it.

Only thing I can think of it that I knocked something loose. But, everything appears to be hooked up.

Problem possibly solved after messing with it for several hours with a buddy. It looks like when I bottomed out that I might have shifted the carb just enough to create a vacume leak somewhere around the base.
