I followed the devac write up that is pinned to this category. I was just wondering if anyone had a problem with the car idling high (around 3000 for warm up) after the devac procedure? I checked, double checked and even triple checked, I got all the right vacuum ports plugged and al the right ports left open. I'm going to check my throttle linkage screws tomorrow, any other ideas as to what it may be?

It sounds like that it is stuck on the cold "fast idle" setting. If you still have the choke heater wire connected, it should eventually come down once the car gets warm and you blip the throttle. I like a slow fast idle, you should be able to adjust the choke linkage so that you are on a smaller "step" of the fast idle cam.
