YES!!!

Congrats my friend. As Kaymo said, you earned every word. IMHO, one of their most well-written articles to-date as well. So mature in it's approach, just like the car!

I love how (1) They made huge mentions of this place (score!); and (2) Your whole build cost about as much as some people spend on their mil-spec quick dis-connect harness and 3-piece custom-barrelled uber hella-flush rims & tires...HA!!!! What a hoot!

That's two 1G CRX's to hit print in Honda Tuning within 12 months. Wonder who that other guy was...

You are the man. Sick car. One day I hope mine is in a mag. My good friend writes articles for lots of the larger car mags. I think when the car is done. He will put my name in for an article.

Congrats.. one of the nicest 1st gens around..

Personally, one thing I would change are the 2nd gen CRX seats though.
How about a nice set of F1 seats ?

Hay Rob!
I agree however finding a set would be incredibly difficult. Also the car isn't an F1 edition.
The second gen seats are a great swap because they share the same seat pan. it's a simple rail swap and they bolt in.
much better seat IMO
However if I could score a set of these in black and orange...

Not bad for a "red" car. wink.gif I'll have to try and find the magazine locally. Car looks amazing. Wish I hadn't sold my CF-48s.

Awesome Ballade!!!

Very professional article! You must be proud.

Sorry I missed the chance to meet you and see the car when I met with rob the other month.

Anassa, I met with Indy the other month as well and saw an 85si. So she is doing just fine. I have been more interested in the 87si's, so I didn't look over the 85 to be able to report. But she's in good hands

Love the car, very impressed! I bought this issue after it was first mentioned here and plan on keeping it. What I really appreciated was how your story about your love of cars came out through this article and your perspective on builds. The fact that you look for period correct items really makes this car unique and one of a kind. The story of the Mugen EDM spoiler was a particular highlight for me, it brought me to a whole new level of understanding. Also thought it was great RPR got a little plug too! Congrats!

Thanks again.
Jonathan did a fantastic Job of trying to explain my philosophy on my build. Simple and purposeful were key. Sure there are a few parts I'd like to have but to put more on the car would IMO clutter things. I've pushed the car as far as I want to. It's not easy to say enough is enough. The temptation can be strong to go over board. I had to remind myself several times that I wasn't building an EG with a tucked K swap. Our cars a very special. The same rules don't always apply.
