Item Of Interest (shock Tower Bushings) No...

chedda_j's Photo chedda_j 01 Jun 2011

These kits will be sold by zach on acadiana motorsports. And to make them a speedy shipping process, he will hold them at the store and ship the directly form the states and get them to you within a few days. Due to the few extra steps were going to be taking for speedyness, were going increase the price just by 4 dollars to a total of 38.95, which is still a steal for what im selling, an energy kit, if they made them, would be around the same price for an item like this. So thank you so much for your buisnes, i will be accepting funds for the second kits.

Edit: 1 set = 4 bushings = $38.95

Upon installing my new kyb's in the rear, i noticed there is some serious play in the top shock mount bushings, with them being so soft. So I went ahead and machined two new ones out of Poly-P, a little thicker too, because with the original bushings, I felt as though there wasnt enough pressure downwards into the bushing seat.

NOTE THIS: My correction, there is four bushings in each car, so the total price will be $38.95 dollars for four bushings, as the shipping stays the same with two or four bushings.

I dont know what I would charge for these, maybe $20 a set, not looking to do a big sell of these, but if anyone is looking for something to help stiffen up the rear a bit, these are a good option.

Me me me me me!!!!!

I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Every serious 1st/3rd owner should want a set of these.

how about we do a group buy in 5's, since there might not be nearly as many sales as the shifter bushings.

Group buy list started.

I'm in for a set, something is weird with my passenger side bushing.. it moves WAY more than the driver's side. So much so that there are actually "shavings" of warn rubber hanging from the shock mount on the interior. If I didn't have the interior apart to track a leak, I'd have never noticed...

Very nice, i noticed that with my new shocks and springs that the shock will actually travel up 1/8" out of the bushing, pretty terrible if you ask me. So what i plan on doing is making them not only stiffer but taller like i said in the first post, im guessing with the overall hardness it will definetly help with rear end sway.

Oh and you guys are on the list, looks like were up to almost 10, lets keep it going.

I'm in though I'd love something that would take up the slack of my narrower-than-stock springs
