yah thats what i thought, but the people that flushed the engine
used a hose and they made it sound like everything was flowing fine?
they used that chemical stuff that prestone makes that i bought
for the flushing of it.
maybe my radiator is blocked up? thats y i figure i'd get a new one.
on the back part of the radiator (under the hood) it looks like
there are 2 little dents on the back of the radiator. i dont knwo
if that would make much difference?

I dont know where you can get the dual row HF style. I have a part number for it and have called a dozen shops and no one can seem to find it anymore. On the HF style you need to watch out some have plastic tanks. You dont want one of those. The Del Sol and 2nd gens will fit but they are not a drop in mods need to be made. Thats why I am on the hunt for the dual row HF still. Someone has to have the damn thing somewhere.

The "tank" of a radiator is the thingy at the top and bottom of the fin part. Literally, this is a tank that holds the majority of the coolant of the radiator.
Honda loves to use plastic tanks for their radiators and this is the most common source of Honda radiator failure because they crack with age.
Victor,
If you find a source for dual row HF radiators, let us know!

Last week I replaced my full-length solid copper one that blew a seam and my g/f's '94 Teg's original plastic tank developed a 3" split so 2 rads in one week, both at least 10 years old bit the dust. Proper maintainence/upkeep is the best solution (check coolant, proper coolant, overheating = leads to cracks, etc) Mak
P.S. I bought a 2-row Del Sol half rad for my '89 HF project for cheap on ebay. It will need some fabbed brackets but I'll let you all know how it goes in terms of quality. Might be '07 before the beast runs though.

Yeah, P/N R1264 rings a bell. Earlier this year I thought I was ordering one of these dual-row HF units from some internet vendor (can't remember which one), but a #$%@ single-row with a different P/N showed up on my doorstep. I sent it back because their customer service rep gave me bum info. Had to get my credit card company involved to get a full refund.
I got fed up with trying to find a dual-row radiator, so I just bought a cheap single-row, all-metal HF radiator from Rock Auto. It fit fine, and I've had no cooling issues whatsover. As a bonus it made a header install easier because I didn't have to worry as much about bonking the core.
