hahahahaha
forgot the main thing.
How much epoxy/tough as nails holding my car together.....
A tube to keep all my trim from flying off.....
2, maybe 3 tubes holding my header panel on....
plus two tubes of tough as nails to reinforce it....
plus a quart of fiberglass stuff on the underside.....
plus, close to another tube of tough as nails to
level out under the fender where i crumpled the crumple
zone a little bit a long time ago.
Oh - and another tube of epoxy trying to hold my window
trim things on.....
Lots of clear silicon sealer, holding the insides of my mirrors on...
and a couple pieces of inside trim.
1/2 a roll of teflon tape holding my AC fitting together, which doesn't
work now for unrelated reasons.....
Oh, where I had a fire....left headlight is shrink tube/black tape....

heh, I've got 2 cans of great stuff (one per side) inside my rear quarter panels to keep moisture/noise out and so I would have something to mold the shape out of for where my rear quarter panels rusted out (you can see it in the pics on my gallery "1loudrx") I just laid the fiberglass over that, and it worked great, no new rust yet, and the car sat unprotected outside for the last year
play me loud, just don't blow me

I think it was Summer of 2001 when I had a bunch of duct tape on my Civic when the window broke. Not some crappy job though:
This marvel of engineering took 6 hours and alot of duct tape. Notice there is no tape stuck to the outside of the car. The patch is pulled toward the car by 4 tape 'straps'. You can see them around the edges. This keeps the outside of the car looking clean, and keeps water out of the car by pulling the patch against the windows original weatherstripping.
View of the inside. Not as clean looking, but this is where the magic happens. The other ends of the tape straps are visible. They are tied to various parts of the car, keeping the patch pulled in tight. This method also prevents the patch from ever blowing out, as the straps wrap around the edges of the entire patch. More tape seals the edges to keep out any water that might get through.
It looked really good, even close up! My best friend didn't pay much attention to it and thought it was some kind of louver I had added
The patch lasted all summer and all winter, and not a drop of water got in the car.

No duct tape for me, either....I feel so deprived. Reading this made me realize that my car is actually in great condition. Rust free and the only body problem is 1/2 inch crack on my header panel. Well, it's finally warm and sunny in Bristol, so I'm off to finish painting the rex!

Does two hairties and velcro count?
A piece of my vehicle fell off (completely), and my friend had velcro in her car. So, I pulled out my pocket knife in a McDonald's parking lot, cut some velcro off, put it on both sides, and there you have it. Not really, since we also had to use two hairties. It worked for about 3 weeks, believe it or not.

My header panel is being held together with aluminum siding, Hurricane tape, and zip ties.
All togther, I have 2 and a half roles of duct tape (for sound deadening, insulation, and various other reasons) but NONE is visible!
