Jan 2017, have owned it for 5 years now, driven 20,000 FUN miles. Just got finished putting in a New Exedy Clutch Disc at a friends garage. Yep, the other New Exedy Disc with 20k miles on it had OIL on it. Replaced "new in 2012" FelPro Rear Main Seal with a New OEM Honda Rear Main Seal and replaced both Drive Axle Seals with New Timken Seals. Back on the road havin' fun. Have it tentatively listed for sale on CL. Lost my garage, and this car deserves to be garaged. I feel bad for parking it outside all the time. Really don't want to sell it, but the car deserves to be kept in a garage, but I want to keep it, man I'm conflicted.....

I second gtpilot... don't sell it. Find someone that'll store it for you. If it's your daily, buy a car cover.

Ok, I hear y'all, thank you, and I do wholeheartedly agree....
Really I want a concrete PAD for cryin' out loud more than I want a "roof".... lol...
Parking on gravel just sucks big time ..... If I had a Pad, a "CarPort" would be kinda easy....
But a concrete pad in my small-budget world is big bucks....
Lets see if I can post a current picture.....

Ok, picture success, but still gotta type the entire image link string, RPR post reply box won't let me copy and paste text ? .....
Here's a "before and after" picture group of the front suspension "ugliness" after 3 years parking outside....

Old fart alert, couple pictures from 1985 of my 1st CRX, a Blue DX Automatic bought brand NEW.
Wanted an Si 5-Speed, but... my girlfriend at the time couldn't drive a stick, wasn't I thoughtful....
So 27 years later in Jan 2012 finally "acquired" what I really wanted in the first place.
Man ain't time somethin', laughing at the sight of that punk behind the wheel, an it's me, lol

I dunno, I wouldn't worry about the gravel, I'd worry about water and the sun. Water gets into all the wrong places and starts the corrosion process. The sun does everything it can to ruin your paint and plastics. I would focus on getting a cover or awning for your parking space. Good luck!

Within about a year both the Blue DX and the girlfriend were history. Really missed that Blue DX...
Yeah, agree, sun and rain just as bad if not worse, already see the effect on the roof paint, drip rail rubber, door top rubber, etc.
It's just less than good for it all the way around, feel as if I'm "neglecting" some assigned "duty"...
No garage is bumming me out knowing how clean it was in 2012 and was already 25 years old.

millcreek, wow, so you worked at a dealership and got to mess with & drive a bunch of CRX's when they were new ? Cool.
And sounds as if you have one now and have yet to get it back on the road.
Be prepared for a little extra attention once yours is back on the road, people notice them.
Encourage and hope time is found for you to get yours back on the road.
They are as much fun to drive as remembered, if not more.
It's rather baffling what makes them so fun, was it just "perception"
and / or marketing "subliminal programming" or what ? LOL
But for running around taking care of routine errands, banging gears, sipping gas, it just makes it fun.
Other than in my case it takes a bit of "effort" getting in & out of it, or rather "putting it on, taking it off". LOL
A sluggish Seat Belt Retractor Spring is a bit aggravating.

Front Brake Pad / Calipers / Brake Fluid Question....
Due to my "circumstances" I got "help" installing new front Brake Pads, that is someone did it for me....
They did NOT open the front caliper BLEED SCREWS when they pressed the pistons all the way back into the Calipers
to install the new PADS. Which I thought was the wrong thing to do, but I wasn't doing it. So all the old fluid got sent back up through the system. Obviously I thought that can't be right, the hydraulic brake system works because it "dis-allows" back-flow of the hydraulic fluid in the system, makes pressure, and works the brakes.
So now I have a "crap" brake pedal. It's there and has "feel" but the brakes don't really "apply" immediately. Press harder and a little more and then kinda more braking action than was wanted does finally "come-in", if you catch my drift.
? So did the "help" I got mess-up the "Cups" in the Master Cylinder by forcing reverse pressure of old brake fluid backwards through the hydraulic brake system instead of opening the Caliper Bleed Screws before pushing the Pistons back into the Calipers ?
And I also hope it would not have caused any problems with the "Distribution Block" in the engine compartment on the passenger side inner fender well below the wiper motor area.
Please help me out and educate me fellow Red Peppers, thank you for your wealth of experience and knowledge.
