for those who have swapped engines, what do u guys do when it comes it smogging ur car.

in california, if you want to run a zc, you will have to use d16 intake manifold, computer, and vacuum routing, you can run a d16, as long as all of the emmissions equipment from the donor vehicle are swapped over.


and no matter which swap you do, unless it is an engine that you could have ordered as an option, it will need to be approved by a BAR referree.

Vegas is cool.....all you do is smog your car under a different vin....aka bringing in a good stock car, with the race car vin

In WA, all they do is shove a rod up your tailpipe and suck test your cap.

I always enjoy my stay at the emissions testing facilities.

The best thing is just referee it ...im in california and owned a 1995 ls-vtec hatch.. i never refereed it(ls-vtec wont pass visual) BUt i just paid the $150 dollar smog man..if you know what i mean!!!
