Gearbox For Ew3 Engine

My gearbox is sooo dead,and here in Sweden its hard as he** to get parts for these cars.

Like I said i want a gearbox that is in good shape that fits my ew3 engine.

The hard part here is that it need to be shipped to Sweden.. I will pay the shipping of course.

Or is there any other gearbox that fit these engines? I can find the zc1 gearbox,but I have my doubt it fits.

Electrical Problems Again..

Problems back then.

On Saturday, the car started to run weird as hell to then die completely. Got the car running with startup cables but only if I gave ALOT of throttle,pressing fuel into the engine .. It did start,but didnt run on all 4 cyls i think.. sounded like that.

Went out yesterday and started troubleshooting.. ECU fuse was blown, and replaced it and tried starting the car again, but it gets to a point where it just jammed .. as if there is a stop there. Just before it happened so it sounded like something hit the inside of the engine .. Nothing good can be thought of.

Checked the sparkplugs also as i thought the cylinders was filled with fuel as i pressed the throttle to PRESS it into the engine, and saw that one spark plug is fouled as hell, and another was bent a bit . Bbent it back, but did not install everything because I want to troubleshoot further.

Iäve had the problem since the past with the sunroof not being completely "leakproof", so it leaks water (im thinking about removing it later,due to being weight in the wrong place) and beacuse of this it adds water behind the seats .. On the passenger side sits the ECU box too and it was soaked in water .. Removed it and it just dripped.. alot! So now the ECU has been resting in front of a fan heater for a few hours, and been left to dry completely overnight.

I went out today to try the ECU. PGM: FI light is on for a couple seconds and goes off as it should, but the fuelpump is constantly on.

The questions in particular are:

1st What could it have been that sounded so bad inside the engine? Something I've broke when driving? Can somerhing be broken into pieces by driving operations? (Do not know about it so say im stupid to me more than I do)

2nd Why do the fuelpump go constant?

3rd Must th ECU be grounded, or can I make a new "shell" for the circuit board, etc. cause the one I have now is rusty water from the water it took a bath in. (plexiglass or so I thought)

4th I drove the car Too hot when I was out in 30minus (coolant froze), and believe that the head gasket may have broken .. Therefore, I thought it was running so weird and then completely died, so what do you think?

Really need help to fix this once and for all .. I'm so tired of fixing engine pars and electrics when engine parts costs, and I have two harnesses that messing with me.

Stronger Clutch Kit

Im looking to replace my clutch in the near future,and since the car will be driven on track this summer thats coming,im looking to get something more Strong,powerful that will last and hold for all these shiftings and sh*t.

I read on the interweb that the Acura Integra clutch will fit,but which one?

Do you guys have any recommendations for a clutch kit that will hold for at least 200hp,and gives me the Feeling that im driving something more durable? I dont care if i get a clutch that will sometimes stall my engine cause i dont think about it being so "rapid",or a clutch thats almost like OEM but is more durable.

Any hints?

I dont want to put Several hundreds dollars for a clutch kit,so something thats economic,but still something i can rely on.

Alloy Radiator For 1g

As my current radiator is barely alive (holes right through it haha),im thinking of going for a alloy radiator instead of buying a new OEM one. Where can i find one that fits?

I found one on ebay thats for the 92 CRX,but it will need some modifications. Im all up to that though if its not so demanding. : http://cgi.ebay.com/...#ht_1654wt_1139

Otherwise.. What other radiators will fit this car with minor mods,or none at all? The price has a very high priority,but.. Quality is prefered also.

Main Relay Has Probably Given In.

My car just wouldnt start yesterday for some weird reason. Got it back home,and we thought at first that the fuelpump was broken,until we tried to feed it directly to the battery,and then it started pumping.

The PGM:FI light was constantly on at this time,and im used to it getting dark after the pump has done its job (when turning on the ignition only). The light was on at all time now,and it has gone dark for some reason. Not sure why.

We tried to feed the pump with 12V and turned the key. the car wouldnt start.

We've checked if i had any spark at all,and its there alright.


Now to the Q.. The main relay seems to be scrap now.. What other Honda have the main relay im looking for? This is for a 1g CRX 1,5 EW3. I read on a swedish honda forum,that someone has used the 1gen main relay for his ED and EG civics.

Is there other main relays that will fit my car and work? smile.gif
