The car is a 1.5 injection (pgmfi)

Basically the car seems like it hits its rev limit at 5k ish, and on the motorways can be lower (starts to splutter at 3k sometimes!)

Ive changed everything service wise apart from the ignition coil which is located on the firewall (under the pgmfi box)

Can i swap this for a normal 12volt cylinder type coil??? Like on older cars??? Looks like the same, 1 negative side, 1 postive side and a HT lead??????

Any help appreicated

thanks

Sounds like the in-tank fuel filter to me.

Right.

Today I changed the fuel pump for a low mileage one.

Seemed to run great for the first 5mins of driving and then I had the same problem.

Beginning to think I'm going to have to drain the fuel tank.....

Just a thought, have you checked your catalytic converter to see if it's partially blocked?
You're Mad!

Well thank God for that, 'cause if I wasn't, this would probably have never worked.
