You'll have to wait a couple of weeks before I'm finished and can give you the full details but I'll let the cat out of the bag early. I'm currently trying to build the hydra engine without even taking the bottom end out of the car. I'm calling my project the EZ1 not because it's easy to build one, but it's a combo of a EW3 block and ZC1 head plus it sounds cool. There are a lot of parts you'll have to order but I will list the part numbers and what things will need machining. The one main difference between my build and the original hydra is I'm not borring the block out to 75mm to use the D16a1 pistons. I found some 74mm pistons that have the same wrist pin size and are made for a 16v head. I'm down to the last task of getting the new piston/rod/wrist pin assembly back down within a gram of the original weight so I don't need to take the crank out for re-balancing. So stay tuned and I lay out all the details once it's all fitted and running.
