Made reservations at the camp ground for GLHS988, Rennaye and myself. There is room for one more in our site if anyone else wants to join us.
If more then one car wants to join us there are plenty of spots left in the camp ground.

I think so, I also think there is a gate fee to get into the park but I am not sure.
Here is a link to the park we are staying in.

Don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, (no pun intended), but the local forecasters here in L.A. is saying there may be a system of precipitation due to hit the northern, and central coast areas soon.
Can anyone up there verify this?
Can anyone up there verify this?
The weather forecast is still good. Partly sunny and high at 75 on Saturday in San Jose.

Let's do some driving! Tegs, 1g Rex's, 3g's, and whatever else wants to run on that day. A caravan of import metal.
After reading all the input from everybody, here is the an idea: Saturday, October 24th, 12 noon, starting in San Jose near Alum Rock Avenue, heading on Highway 130 up Mt. Hamilton, heading down the backside on San Antonio Valley Road, taking a break at a spot called the Junction, and then heading on Mines Road another 30 miles into downtown Livermore.
I was told about this route from a guy in a Bay Area Mini club that has used this road for a gathering. He says that there is a Starbucks and a gas station off Alum Rock off 680 at the intersection of S. White and Story Roads to meet at. If somebody knows the area a little better, maybe they can help to identify a parking lot with a lunch type place with a gas station nearby to gather. The Mini guy says this route is kind of a remote and cool. We'll need to identify an end point to meet at in the Livermore area (GOKART, ???)
Mid-day on a Saturday and starting in the southbay sounds like the better choice since we have a contingent that will be planning to come up from the southland. Hopefully, anybody who has to work on that Saturday can catch up with us on the Livermore end.
Additional ideas? Feedback? Let's get this together! Thanks.

I'm in, heading waaaay down from the Yuba/Marysville area.
I'll try to not wuss out, hope to drive the four hours down to San Jose and end up at.... boomers?
I'll be driving the deer dented 626 and bringing a NIB headliner and some Honda louvers if anyone wants em, maybe a box-o-crx-parts too.
Can someone that's certain update the original post with: Date of meeting, what time people should be at each stop if they want to meet up, addresses of each spot (important!) and just a general "what it is, when it is, how its going to happen" thing, cause right now I've read the whole thing here and I'm still totally oblivious for the most part what all is gonna happen when...
