About three pounds less. At least that's how much less the 1.3 flywheel I have is from a standard flywheel. About 15lbs.

I believe they are the same as the HF's, can't say for sure.

And the two ring gears, 1.3 and 1.5, are identical both in diameter and gear mesh.

If the ring gears are identical in diameter and gear mesh, does it mean that I can use the Si starter with the HF flywheel?

It would seem so. But I really don't know because when I took the starter off the car I just put it on the shelf with the rest of my spares.

This was over ten years ago, for all I know that starter could be in my race car right now. ohmy.gif

It has even less content than the Elise, is less graceful looking

Is the flywheel for sale?

Going to Hawaii? You need a Dune Buggy.

WTB: 14x8 or 9" Panasports or Watanabe RS.

WTB: 3g Civic hatch gauge cowl, brown.

WTB: ZC header--FOUND

That 1.5L from the 85 Si Wilq has with the flywheel was mine. Great motor and condition. The flywheel was made by Mueller Racing if I recall correctly and had a replacable friction surface. Motor had about 110k on it befroe the ZC install. No leaks.

Edit- The clutch and flywheel only had about 10-12k on it before being swapped for a ZC.
