1g Rear Disk Issue?
Old School REX 03 Feb 2009
+1^ on the adj. panhard bar for sure... But I too am wondering if you have ever "rolled" your inner lip down? I did mine with an old wooden baseball bat and two friends in the driveway. Took about 15 min. Solved my rubbing issue due to running drop springs and low offset wheels before my panhard bar etc...

I'm rolled... but it seems to not be enough...could it be that i'm running rex hubs, axles and trailing arms with teg disks..., should I be running the teg hubs and/or axles as well. Does it make a difference?

You cant use the Integra rear trailing arms they are a different length than the CRX/Civic's. And the only difference after that is the Integra has a larger rear Sway torsion bar.
I think your problem is the offset on your wheels.

If you are using the rex hubs I vagely remember them being ALOT shorter..., and if you are using them, that sounds like a potentially dangerous situation.
I dont think you can use the rex spindles though. I think only the integra stuff will work or you woul have run into some crazy install problems.
I mean if you are that low it could be you need a different offset rim. Are you using a adj. panhard rod??

The difference comes from the difference in thickness of the drums and rotors. The Teg spindle and the CRX spindle are the same. The Teg and CRX rear wheelbearing/hub assembly are the same.
I'd have to agree that the issue sounds like a wheel offset problem.
Also......does it rub on both sides of the car or just one??

keep discs
more track good
raise your rear 1/2 inch to an inch
the rex looks great with rake

It rubs driver bad, and passenger not as muxh but still really close... I'm going to make this whole install that much easier and go back to the drums. I like my ride height so that's not an option and I like the 13" 10 spokes as well. I will just run some HF drums and save the weight. Not the end of the world and it seems as if its the cheapest way out of this little situation. A do appreciate all the info though. The disks aren't that important that I'm gonna reinvent the wheel to get them to fit.

What offset wheels are you running? I have 15X8's with a 38mm with no problem with rolled inner lip. Another question, if you are "tucking" a 13" wheel (or tire) you must have some serious drop going on... What size tires are they? Suspension travel is limited as it is, too much drop on the back = very bad thing in even spirited driving...
I won't try to pull you away from going back to drums however... I need a set of Teggy e-brake cables, you got them? I want them...

Not sure of the offset at this point...did those wheels come in different offsets? Im too lazy to pull one to look right now. And no the cables are the one things I didn't get off the donor...too much work for an e-brake, haha...
