SOLD! THANK YOU RPR!

The infamous, the original, hand 'fettled' Kakabox No-Reach, short throw Fatstick:

The extra tall shift lever places your hand closer to the steering wheel for 'no-reach' shifts.

This shifter has an extended lower section (below the pivot ball) which shortens the shift throws.

Includes a genuine Bullitt Mustang aluminum shift knob:

Also includes two counter weights which smoothes out the shifting...

NOTES: Due to the large diameter of the shaft, the 1/3g OEM shift boot will not fit over w/o modification. I ran this shifter using only the rubber interior boot that is underneath the OEM boot as shown here:

Also, due to the longer shifter length, any play (slop) in your shift linkage may be amplified. I have found that most of this play is in the OEM shift rod to transaxle input shaft 'U'-joint.
95% of this play can be eliminated by replacing this factory joint w/a proper u-joint like a u-joint from the steering shaft...similar to what I did here:

The other ~5% of the slop can be eliminated by installing chedda_j's shift bushing kit:

Paypal preferred.

Thanks,
J.

FYI - WOLFCRX could probably make a shift boot for this.

You're Mad!

Well thank God for that, 'cause if I wasn't, this would probably have never worked.
