My bro went to the auto show at the Javit's center when the Cobalt SS was on display, and he just blurted out "You know, SS used to stand for something."

The model replied "It stands for something, Super... uh.... something"
My bro is a harsh chevvy felah, and was not amused so much as disgusted.

Personally, I think the NSX type S would own them all.

Yeah I know how your brother feels. I'm a big chevy fan, but I wish they would make a new SS that was acutally a super sport. Lately the only way to earn up to the name you have to spend a extra 10,000 or more on parts to upgrade. Maybe its because I'm still a little young and all the late model SS (that deserved to be calleed a super sport)i've seen have all been supped up already even though most claimed to be stock. Sorry got off on a rant.

The NSX would own all the others...except for my S-10 blazer with the cloged up cat.. laugh.gif

What about the 1G CRX Si?

I like the new Minicooper S, but a customer of mine has one ans it has build quality problems she tells me. They have had the sunroof fixed a few times now because with the tight suspension, big wheel low profile tires, and short wheel base, it shakes the sunroof mechanism apart. I would like the 70 Chevelle SS with 454. Well, with gas now $2.59/gallon, maybe a 1984 Civic TypeS.

When I was looking at cars I came DOWN to the Cooper S..and something similar in size..
the HONDA 1 G CRX is ALSO 12 feet in length
HAS comparable HP vs body weight(the Cooper is HEAVY at 2600Lbs)
but the Cooper AD HOC FWD BMW,HAS forced induction.
how hard to install a small turbo blowing about 4 psi??? not very,Im looking Ebay over for a Suzuki Sprint turbo, and will more then likely add it on as another 20-30 free hp with no real forcing the issue on my bone stock ew1.
Where it is needed mostly....UP TOP where the NON VTEC cams aint helpin ya.
I'd say get the NEWER CRX 1988-1992 if your handling is that necessary,to require a 4 wheel indepedant suspension, those boogers are TERRORS in track use with a dedicated car with good hp ALA a 2.2 engine(YES THEY WILL FIT,a shaker hood, and HASPORT mounts just read about it in the newest SPORT COMPACT CAR)
200+ HONEST hp with nitrus....almost that much without.
oh yeah, faster AND furious..Heh Heh Heh

better to be thought the fool..
rather then to open one's mouth and confirm it

use may include risk factors these include;anal leakage, oily discharge, copious flatulence, bloating, incontinence, erectile dysfunction, body rejecting genitals,a racing or severely diminished heart rate/including death. discontinue use if health insurance ends,or patient turns blue and doctor leaves after declaring patient has died...your results may vary
