Hey there. Im trying to figure out what was different between the Si suspension and the other trim models. I've owned an HF and a 'base' (?) so far, and have never driven an Si. For me its hard to understand how the CRX got a reputation as a good handling car based on the ones ive owned! Did the Si have different torsion bars? Different bar in the rear axle? Different front sway bar? Different rear springs? All of the above?
I never plan to make my current CRX a race car. I did get to autoX a very aggressive turbo'd XP-class 2g crx on race rubber at one point, and while it had potential to go very fast it was PITA to drive due to massive on/off throttle handling differences and the CRX i have now is primarily for my wife who doesnt need that kind of challenge in her commute. I WOULD like to make it handle BETTER, so im just trying to get an idea what honda changed for the si, and perhaps more importantly what they didn't.
Thanks!
