i was wounding if anyone on here has done something like this to there 1 gen crx? On the 2nd gen crx's its called a tunnel Back Hatch Conversion. I was wounding because i was thinking about doing something like this because i have a extra hatch and to loss weight. i noticed that the si hatch weights about 55 lbs. while a hatch with no window, spoiler and wiper weighs about 15 lbs. i was thinking about making it out of the existing hatch with nothing on it can and cutting out as much as possible. while using fiberglass for the walls and bottom and using plexiglass or lexan for the window. thanks

Hi I am kind of new on here. I have been on here a lot lately and I though it was about time I introduce myself. My name is Michael and i own a black 87 Honda crx si. I bought the car in late September and I have been fixing it up since. I got it for 200 bucks and it is now running. All it needed was a fuel pump and a new clutch to get it started. Thanks for all the help and info and i hope to chat with you all soon.
Thanks,
Michael
Thanks,
Michael
