Front bumper supports are pretty bad, rusted through, so removed and new material welded back in.
And behind the passenger seat. As you can see someone already tried fixing it, or at least cover it up:
Right now I'm working on this. Front passenger side.

Another piece done.
Cleaned up the rear of the engine and cleaned some brackets/clips etc. Just the alternator left to do. Top of the intake and valve cover are off to be done "professinoal" in wrinkle finish. Just can't get that OEM finish myself.
The ED/EF brakes painted
And a realy lucky find on these. Brand new Koni Reds (Special D's). So happy with these. I already have Koni Yellows in the rear
Some more cleaning/painting and putting things back on.
And last night I cleaned up the other trailing arm, loads of coating on there, same crap was on the rear axle, so not a fun job at al, but got it all off for the most part.
Rear axle already in primer

During unpacking of those parts I did manage to get something done.
Lots of cleaning/sanding and watching paint dry
Before and after.

Cleaning up the Koni's. No its not a new one. Stripped, rust converter, primer, paint, 2K clear coat and new decal from Koni.
Cleaning the underside. Removed the sand/dirt, wirebrush to get rid of the undercoating that was coming off. And new coating applied.

Congratulations on your NOS parts. Very interesting to see the sourcing in Europe. Each country is different from the next when it comes to how Honda must operate legally within that country. Canada, for example can't post parts available at dealership on a national network like the US can due to privacy laws.
Glad you can save those parts from the dumpster and keep us posted on new finds! In the beginning, it was easy to buy inbulk at discount via the internet. Then I had to go to each dealership and buy piece parts with shipping costing more than the parts themselves. Now it either someone is too proud of what they got and charge 10 fold, or you get lucky and stumble on a closet find someone is trying to get rid of.
The mold markings on the back of your header panel are interesting. Your part was manufactured Nov 1989. I've been keepng track of larger parts DOM. I've been curious as to when Honda stopped producing body and trim parts.
you've put a lot of resource Ito your search and it shows!
I think Europe is the same as Canada in that way, there is no website that has honda parts listed, like hondapartsnow.com or any other in the US. Here you either go to the dealer or email them and ask for the part.
Most will say, NO , we can't get you that, so then the search begins. Honda United Kingdom is a bit more helpfull though, they can actually see some old stock in Europe. Some parts I found in Germany thanks to the UK Honda/website.
For my latest NOS part I was lucky to found them on a forum, guy went to a Fiat dealer that was about the be closed, used to be honda, in the back/storage he found a box with NOS honda parts, €100 and he got it all ($130 or so).
I should check the markings on my front bumper, not sure if I posted a picture of that on here.

I did the same thing to my Koni yellows. Stripped them, primer, paint, decals, then cleared them. Looks great. Now to install them...

I thought mine wasn't that bad, judging by the outside, but after stripping it, I decided to go all the way with this.
I think thats gonna be quite the drive for you, but your welcome anyways
