ok, i have a d16a1 with the cg tranny, already into my 86si. However it did not come with the tranny mount, already tried the auto tranny mount from a teg, but it doesnt work( ishould have read more). To my knowledge I need the manual tranny mount from the teg, no junkyard around me has one, so is it best to buy one new?
I am new to this site, but am loving it. I have a 86 civiv si with the 1.5, dont know all the engine codes yet. The current engine is shot, 220000 plus miles on it, not sure whats wrong with it. My question is if It is better to just rebuild it or swap it out for something better. Im not looking to spend a lot of money on this project yet. I just need it running first. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
