How many miles to a full tank on a 87 dx?

i dont think the gas gauge works properly.. how many miles should i expect per tank or gallon from my carbd DX? my miles are mostly from city driving..

3-400kms per tank depending on the type of driving. But this is a Canadian DX so it has no CVCC, plus it's ported and polished and has a header on it so it makes it a little thirsty.

Yeah, I usually get close to 400km (~250m) as well, about 29mpg.

I had a 87 DX and it got around 38-40 miles per gallon, both city and highway mixed. I also had a good carb and K&N filter with reduced air cleaner cover. I got about 400 miles a tank, but also drive conservatively and had to keep records for my job. It was a great car until a delivery truck tried to mate with it. That's the price of a good looking car
