Drives: 87civic si w/d16a1 and T3 turbo@ 8psi
What are the gear ratio's/final drive for the 86-89 teg trans and the 86-89 accord's. I am turning 4grand at 80mph and want to lower 5th gear or the final drive to lower the rpm. And i plan to put a turbo on my car, so i could use the longer gearing.

86-87 i think is .878
Not sure what the final drives are
I switched to the .694 accord 5th (teg final), around 2500 rpm at 90 km/h
There is a quite a gap between 4th and 5th but i do a lot of highway driving and it works well

The final drive in my street car w/86 Teg is 4.21. We took out a stripped 0.848 fifth gear and replaced it with a 0.878 from, I believe, a later model four door .

If you love the Elise, drive a Se7en - Caterham or whatever...
