YES! if by the same you mean completely different and from different manufacturers
or are you talking about recessed headlights and talking about the sealed beam units. in which case you could check by going on PARTSAMERICA.com and comparing the two part numbers from either car.

No matter what, I am sure you can get them fitted in there with some TLC...but will it be worth that extra hastle?

I would bet they are not the same, but if you have a 323 at the junkyard take some measurements. I saw a pair on ebay a while ago, and people are always selling them here on RPR after doing headlight swaps. Post an ad in the WTB section.
