There is a guy down south from here ( Cali I think, or Washington) that has the engine mounted in a 74-78 civic ( 1st gen). It's a b16. Not running yet.
A local friend of mine with a 1st gen wagon has a d16 from and 87 teg and another guy I know has a 2000 si vtech single cam in his 78 civic hatch.
I'll get some pics.

i'd love to find any information on what it would take to put a B16 in a 1G hatch. Seeing how I have both a B16, and a '78 widebody I think I am obligated to do it for all the 1G fans.
Blast from the past.

I have seen an ICE RACER 70's civic with a H22 prelude engine
It was crazy fast but poorly built
