Hi there. I had an 85 HF last year and sold it, but recently picked up an 86 automatic for my fiancee.

I'm wondering if the 1g integra d16 will bolt to the existing d15 automatic trans.

If not, my next question would be whether the automatic offered in the integras was the same trans in a different case? If so i would think it would drop in with no mods to shifter or any external controls required.

Any help appreciated!

They wont bolt up as far as I know, for a good reason too, the Integra had a center shaft, unlike the Ew series motors. Find yourself an auto D16, problem solved.
