ok i am always seeing everyone posting up great ebay finds for our cars and i have tried to find these sort of things myself but evidently the keywords i use are not the same ones you guys use... so post up what you are using to find parts for your 1g/3g on ebay.

some of us PRAY that the goodies on there arent posted here, not that we dont want other rpr guys to have nice stuff, but its always nice to have less competition.

with that said, good luck getting hints tongue.gif

Meh, I disagree. Way I see it, RPR is US and e-bay is THEM, unless you're actually on e-bay, in which case ChrisF is THEM (joke).

The parts for our cars are hard to find. Keeping a good find to myself only makes it harder - and if someone wants it more than I do, they should have it.

Search terms I have used:

CRX 86
honda 87 -alarm -hub -rotor -every other damn thing you don't want to see
1stgen (usually someone from here selling)

You get the idea. Cast a wide net, sort your catch.

I usually search MK1 crx in hopes of finding EDM parts, 84-87 civic, 84-87 crx, CR-X, etc.

I always look at the seller's other items if they have something 1G/3G related because they usually have multiple items for sale. wink.gif

look here duner.... if i wanted some negative assclown type reply i would be posting on hondatech or some forum for idiots ok.... it is always good for everyone to not be greedy and horde every part that they can find ... not all of us have a very clean in perfect working shape exactly how we want it 1g or 3g. the rest of us have to look for the parts and hope we can find what we are looking for ... and unlike some i have to pay to have work done on mine due to health issues prohibiting me from turning wrenches on my own so ebay and this board save me money where i can't save it with the labor. If you think that you are better than the rest of us maybe you should go to some other board and post as i don't see the point of you and your ignorant comments on this board. No wonder this site isn't well known due to people like you ruining it for everyone else. and before you even think of replying to this thread think about what it was like when you were searching for parts when you began your 1g or 3g build up and think about how many fewer of these cars are on the road day by day... I do have respect for those that have been here for several years and contribute to those of us (members) that are newer to this board and newer to these cars however i have no respect for those that speak out of their asses.

im not being an ass, you just dont like what i had to say! and like i said, good luck getting helpful hints, 2 so far.......

also, its not that i dont want the RPR community to have good stuff, which i do, but you said it yourself: when you cant afford anything/everything you want; try to spend as little as possible.

ive been here A LOT longer than you and ask anyone i have ever had dealings with and they will tell you that i am very respected!

and i make probably less than 90% of the ppl on this board and believe it or not my car isnt like i want it either, nor can i spend ungodly amounts of $$$ on it. shocking i know ohmy.gif

I have multiple personality disorder, which in this case being a medical condition makes me exempt. We are here, there, everywhere. I am me, I, us, them, those, they, him, and I might even be you, and you don't even realize it.

Just an observation to 'lowered member'.

The initial reply to your post ended with tongue.gif That to me seems to indicate that the poster was being light hearted with their reply and dare I say, showing levity?

In other words lighten up!

To specifically address your question as has been suggested here you need to search for stuff in the most general terms possible using every possible thing you can think of. When you do your search it is looking for key words and the more you have the better your chance of getting a good result.

It is not rocket science but you need to be thorough.
