Will that keep my pg7 ecu from throwing codes?

nah, It'll still throw codes, you just won't know about it unless you look.
THEN: soon after that : next in order of time, position, narration, or enumeration <walked to the door, then turned><first came the clowns, and then came the elephants>

THAN: used as a function word to indicate difference of kind, manner, or identity ; used especially with some adjectives and adverbs that express diversity <anywhere else than at home><older than I am> <easier said than done>

The reason I ask is its not throwing codes but my 02 sensor is unhooked.

Ah ha, I think I see what you mean. No, the light being out won't prevent the ECU from being able to detect a problem, you just won't know about it unless you look, like Aggressive said. The light doesn't let the ECU know of a problem, it goes the other way. The ECU turns on the light, which is just to alert the driver.

Could there be another reason my ecu isnt throwin codes? I know at the very least my o2 sensor wire is completely missing. (I know which pin it is and how to hook it up just havent got around to it yet.
