i may go get that civic in georgia, how different is the KA5MT to a 1300 4 speed transmission?? i know its 1 gear less and probably different gear ratios, does the 4 speed in 4th travel at 60 mph @ 2-3k?? is the 4 speed better than the 5 speed?? i dont know anything about this 4 speed... except that ill rip it apart and man handle it like i did the KA5MT and show it whose boss...

everyone that had a 4 speed on their EF civic i have spoken with said the 4 speeds pretty well are sucky for any performance. I however, have never used one or even driven in a car with one so idk

does anyone know if i can use the syncros from the 4 speed in the 5 speed??? the diagrams look exactly the same, as i may have been correct on my conclusion that the KA5MT is just the 4 speed with 5th gear added to the outside of the housing...

Are there any current links for this tranny rebuid kit? Unless someone has swapped their 86 Si motor and tranny for a big block acura motor and dont need it anymore?
